fit the bill perfectly

Needed a decent case for rehearsals and this fit the bill perfectly. It protects the edges well and has enough room for my ride and a couple of crashes. The padding is decent and the strap is comfortable on the shoulder. Very happy with this purchase.

This cymbal case is excellent

This cymbal case is excellent. I recently traveled internationally with a set of 8 cymbals, and it held them comfortably with room to spare. It feels spacious, practical, and very reliable for travel

Invaluable for the working drummer

After years of schlepping in a backpack gig bag, this rolling case is the perfect answer when backline has covered the rest.

Sturdy Construction, Lightweight Portability and simply for storage:
Balancing durability with portability, the case boasts a robust construction to withstand the demands of travel while remaining surprisingly lightweight. Its sturdy nature is complemented by a portable design??an ideal combination for a musician constantly on the move or it's great to store your cymbals, keeping them clean and ready for use.

Great rolling cymbal case!

Really impressed with the design and feel. Seems like it will be as durable as everything except maybe an SKB in a cymbal case that’s out of a rolling cart. Can’t beat this case at this price point! For reference I have stored in the photo, a 21” ride, 20” crash, 19” crash, 18” crash, (2) 18” chinas, and a pair of 13” hats.

Best rolling cymbal case value anywhere

My wife got me this for Christmas. I love this! High quality, thick durable plastic shell safeguards your valuable cymbals in the trailer where things fall over or slide around. I only regret not getting one years ago. Great value at this price, ergonomic design makes easy portage, padding between bells eliminates rattling around, 4 heavy duty latches secure the halves. Fits my 20" ride comfortably

Must Have for Regular Travel

I have a "back pack" style cymbal case. Which is already showing wear and when loaded with my cymbals, it becomes heavy. This durable outer shell is a great solution. The handle has an easy trigger with a button on each side. They obviously thought of lefties. The pad separators are nice and do the job. But depending on the shape and size of cymbals, this is noisier than my backpack with separate padded pockets for each cymbal. All in all, the hard plastic, the smooth wheels, and the long extension of the handle makes this a must for any traveling drummer.

Sturdy Cymbal Case with Wheels

This case makes transporting my cymbals much easier. The foam padding keeps them safe, and it holds several cymbals without issue. The wheels are a big upgrade from my old cymbal bag—less strain carrying gear around. Durable, protective, and convenient. The biggest obstacle is how tricky it is to open and close it. Not the easiest and most time-efficient.

Nice case! A few tweaks would make it perfect!

This is a very good concept for a case. We've been using a soft cymbals bag for our drumset cymbals at my high school, and I discovered the edge of one of the cymbals had a dent in it recently. My favorite part of the design on this case is that it securely holds the cymbals by the center hole rather than just cradling the edges. As the description says, it holds up to a 21" cymbal. (I was hopeful I could get our 22" ride to fit, but it was just a bit too snug--actually bowing out the flat side just a bit). The latches felt secure, and I liked the telescoping handle as well.A few things that would make it perfect:1. Use hinges on the flat side; it's a bit of work to get all the edges aligned just right when closing it up.2. Include an extra section of plastic sleeve for fitting extra cymbals (if the stack gets too high, the center posts are rubbing the screw. 4 cymbals fit just fine with what's included).3. Give a couple more color options (Red would be my personal choice as that's a school color for us).

High quality option for secure storage

At approximately half the price of the SKB version this Gorpanix cymbal vault is a solid option for a road worthy case and worth consideration.PROS:-Thick ABS plastic shell that doesn’t bend or bow if other gear is stacked on top.-Spring loaded hinges that pop open and out of the way for quick opening and closing.-Two button extension release handle prevents hand from accidentally releasing the slide.-Rolling wheels are smooth and stable.-Hinged carry handle for moving around when not using the wheels.-The two clamshell pieces come apart and align back together easily.-Multiple bright and high visibility color choices add an extra level of security and easy identification when amongst other gear. Especially when loading in/out with multiple other acts gear mixed together backstage.CONS:-Won’t stand up and easily tips over which is a big disappointment.-Foam insert is not adhered down and is soft and low quality. The cymbal insert separators are a much denser and rigid quality foam though.-No internal storage pocket for Hi-Hat clutch, drum key, washers, etc.

Nicely made attractive cymbal case

The GORPANIX Cymbal Case arrived well packaged and in great shape. The case feels well manufactured with plastic that is molded well and latches and handles that work well. The case is fairly sturdy but light and holds 5 cymbals with the included foam inserts (more cymbals if you provide your own in-between cymbal protection). The inserts are high density foam as listed on the product page but the foam at the bottom of the case is fairly light, loose, and does not breed confidence in long term durability. The only other issue I had was that the design of the case made it impossible for the case to stand up with cymbals installed, tipping over consistently. Still, a well made and attractive case that is easy to roll.

Great color and a really well made case.

Love the color of this. Of course after a few trips with gear on the back of the car, it's not going to look as nice and shiny, but for now it's awesome. The lid fits perfect and the locks are good enough for light transport work (and like any of my older cases, everything breaks eventually and then I just use straps.) The case is really hefty and has great protection. The inner spindle however is not perfect. My older Zildjian Hi-hats had a tough time slipping on it and Zildjian Vienna Symphonic wouldn't fit at all due to the grommet. Those are more personal issues for my gear though so not dinging any stars. This comfortably held four cymbals and I'm sure it could hold at least six with a bit of Tetris order or maybe gaff tape around the spindle. Very happy adding this to my stash!

The wheels are a lifesaver

The rolling design is the best part. I play a lot of small venues where parking is not close, and not having to carry all that weight on my shoulder is huge.
